You feel like you have to hold everything together, just in case no one else does.
You’re exhausted by decisions, afraid of making the “wrong” choice.

Enjoying time with your family without constantly scanning for problems.
Meeting a friend for coffee and going home relaxed, not overanalyzing every word.
Trusting that you don’t have to fix everything—and you never did.
Hi, I’m Michelle Croyle, LPC. I help thoughtful, caring women who’ve spent years struggling with anxiety to learn to calm their minds, trust themselves, and finally feel safe in their own skin. Together, we’ll untangle what you can control—and what you were never meant to carry with grace and lots of effective tools!
Hi! I’m Michelle…
If you’ve tried therapy before and still feel stuck in anxious patterns, you might wonder if real change is possible.
That’s completely understandable—and it isn’t your fault.
Many caring, sensitive women have spent years believing it’s their job to keep everything (and everyone) okay. When you’ve carried that weight so long, it can feel impossible to set it down.
Here’s how my approach is different:
We’ll gently uncover what’s yours to hold and what was never your responsibility—so you can finally feel safe and steady without trying to fix everything
Here’s what we’ll do together
If you’ve tried therapy before and it felt like one more place you had to perform, it’s unlikely that you were able to get the results you desire.
Imagine waking up and feeling a quiet sense of relief because you don’t have to be on high alert anymore.
What if you could trust your own choices, enjoy your relationships without fear, and finally feel comfortable in your own mind and body?
what I hear from my clients:
While I can’t share specific client stories because of confidentiality ethics, the women I’ve walked alongside often tell me that…
They have made progress toward their goals and find the tools I provide them to be really helpful
They’ve never been able to put the stuff they are struggling with into words, but feel that I understand them
That they trust me, and what I teach them is helpful to them
That they are doing so much better than they used to be since working with me
That they recommend me to their friends.
What we’ll work on
You deserve to be able to exhale …
It’s a struggle to be on alert all the time, and together, we’ll work on soothing your nervous system so that the tools we discuss and practice can really take effect and allow you to experience calm, confidence, and at ease in your own life—not just surviving each day while bracing and hoping for nothing to go wrong.
If you’re ready to trade anxiety for peace, I’m here to help.
How will it work
You might be wondering …
“What if therapy doesn’t work for me?”
That’s a fair question. Anxiety can feel so ingrained that it seems like nothing will help. But with consistent, compassionate support, change is possible—one step at a time.“I’ve always been anxious. Is it even possible to feel calm?”
It is. You can learn to soothe your nervous system, trust your instincts, and feel safe without constantly scanning for danger.“Shouldn’t I be able to figure this out on my own?”
If you could have, all your efforts would have fixed it by now. You deserve help that’s gentle, informed, and effective.

There are two ways to work with me.
1) As a weekly client (however, these spots are limited due to my current caseload availability).
2) As a Therapy Intensive client.
Both ways of working with me offer an eclectic array of treatment modalities. If you would like a blend of the best tools I’ve found from evidence-based EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, IFS/Parts/Ego State work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Brainspotting work, you will benefit from a whole person approach. When you include faith-based Christian counseling from a Biblical perspective with the psychological treatments, you are really getting the best of cutting edge as well as truth-based care.

Weekly therapy is 50 minutes in length per session.
Therapy Intensives are offered in customized chunks of concentrated time that can ultimately save you time and money with less hassle.
Length of care depends on which of the above options you choose as well as your individual needs, goals, and history. Each client is unique, and care is customized to your specific criteria.
