During your first free consultation call, I will ask about your desires and goals for therapy outcomes, and seek to learn of your strengths and struggles. We will begin to discuss what steps forward may look like as we work together.
Our discussion is collaborative in nature. If we decide that your needs and my expertise are a good fit to work together, we will discuss next steps. If we determine that I am not the best fit for your needs, I will be happy to provide you with other recommended options that might better fit your needs.

YES! As an EMDR Intensive client, you have the option of experiencing your session(s) either virtually online or in-person in my relaxing office near Carnegie, Pennsylvania.

Online therapy has been shown to be equally as effective as in-person therapy sessions.
For telehealth sessions, we will meet by SpruceHealth, which is similar to Zoom but for health professionals who want to be sure sessions are privacy (HIPAA) compliant for your confidentiality.
The following information is how the technicalities work, but don’t worry if you are not tech savvy. We will help you to get set-up and talk you through the process as needed.
A link will be provided to you when you become a client, you will download the app, and at the time of your session(s), I will “call” you. You will answer the call, and we will then be face-to-face by video.
EMDR Intensives can also be done very effectively by telehealth. Many people find it convenient. I use an online service that allows for client processing visually with a digital ball of light to follow, auditorily with sound tones to follow, and/or with handheld tappers that “buzz” to allow the processing process to be effective.

EMDR Intensives are available online through telehealth for clients who desire to work from the comfort of their own home or a location in Pennsylvania of their choice, such as a relaxing Airbnb.
For those interested in working with me in-person, my comfortable office near Carnegie, Pennsylvania (about 20 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport) is where we will meet.

EMDR therapy intensives are currently priced at $250 per hour.
Prior to booking your intensive, we will discuss your symptoms, goals, and applicable history to determine the focus of your intensive as well as the recommended number of hours that are estimated to meet your objectives.
I offer a free 15 minute consultation call to see if your needs and my expertise are a good fit for each other.
If we are a good fit to work together, I will then have you complete some assessment paperwork, and we will schedule another free call where we can discuss potential treatment plan options for your treatment and financial needs.
EMDR therapy intensives are payable by FSA, HSA, Credit Card, or CareCredit. If you are interested in using a CareCredit card which is a credit card account for medical purposes. If you would like to consider using CareCredit, we can provide you with information on how to apply.
